Choosing the right sofa is definitely a challenging process. We’ve all been there. From finding an inspiration, to actually navigating the perfect one, is a long journey. And we want it all - the look, the comfort, the quality, (and then finally of course) the price. And since, we do not usually shop for sofas every season, it is absolutely critical to select the right sofa for the space, not only visually, but seating, size, and comfort vise as well.

Even though interior designers make it look so simple, choosing the right seating option for your home is not always the easiest thing. Deciding on such an important piece of furniture for home, can be overwhelming, and difficult for everyone involved in this decision-making process. However, there is nothing better than getting home after a long day to relax, having the entire family gathering around for movies and games, or just napping with a good book. But no worries, we are here to help!

At Kalejdoroom, Nicolai has been advising his customers for years about the benefits and features of every model, finding the perfect sofa for his customers. So for those whom had no chance yet to pop by the butik in Copenhagen, we are giving few tips here.

The Boheme Sofa

When it comes to a high-quality, classic, and timeless furniture, you can’t go wrong with the Boheme sofa. It is one of our all-time favourites, with a modern look and feel. It’s very comfortable and deep-seated for extra comfort.

The invisible legs create a chic and seamless look. It is also extremely customisable to your specific needs, since it is a modular sofa, available in any colour or texture of choice with detachable fabric all-over, allowing you to easily refresh/clean it whenever needed. Making it the perfect choice for young families and pet-friendly households.

Maximised comfort

The Boheme sofa is deep seated, which means that compared to a normal sofa (that has an average seating depth around 85-87 cm) this model has an additional 13 cm depth. We know it doesn’t sounds all that much, but trust us, it makes a huge difference! Whether you want to cozy up with your partner or fit in the family, that little extra space will give you all the comfort you need.

The way the designers created this deep seated sofa without compromising on how much space the sofa actually takes up in a living room, is by making the back panels and the armrests of the sofa slim, and thus maximising the seating. Simple yet overlooked by many other sofa manufacturers.

Furthermore, to take the comfort aspect to another level, you have an option to adjust the back and seat cushions, as they are available with a combination of cold foam and down, or only with cold foam for those that prefer a firmer seating.

Made to last

The cushions for the seating and backrest are all reversible, which means that there is the same high-quality fabric all over. Also this way, they can be turned at any time, so the sofa will look beautiful and new for longer. Therefore, there is no need to be afraid of light colours, since it can be easily kept in shape!

Furthermore, the fabric can be removes from the cushions, as well as upon the request also from the entire sofa. This way you can easily wash and keep the sofa in great shape.

I chose my Boheme in light cotton fabric, and I couldn’t be happier about it! Room looks much brighter and when needed I pop the covers in the washing machine for a quick 30 degrees wash, then while still wet put them back on the cushions and let them dry. After 4 years my sofa still looks brand new!
